My dining room table, yes the one that is 9 feet long by 42 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches thick, is nearing completion. Today is the day that I will sand the skirt and the top to 400 grit. Also I will probably fill the legs with some putty and sand them also to 400. That might be it. Actually, the top will be sanded further with 0000 steel wool. Then a wax job and buffering. Might do it. SJVR will have to wait.
