We've learned that the Patriots held a private workout with SMU Mustang wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders yesterday. QB Coach Bill O'Brien was reportedly in attendance.
Sanders made a splash at the Senior Bowl, showing explosive speed and sure hands. He later ran a 4.41 at the combine, also sporting a 6.6 3-cone and showing off a 39.5" vertical jump.
